The Clarets began their festive fixture schedule with a big three points and a clean sheet on the road as Vincent Kompany’s side ran out 2-0 winners at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

Burnley opened the scoring two minutes into the second half when Wilson Odobert curled home a fantastic strike from outside the area before Sander Berge drilled in the second of the afternoon 20 minutes later to seal the win in West London.

The victory sees Fulham’s three-match winning streak at home ended as the Clarets now gear up for a Boxing Day clash at home to Liverpool.

Kompany made two changes from the side that featured last weekend as Charlie Taylor returned from suspension and came in for Hannes Delcroix whilst Lyle Foster was handed his first start since coming back to the squad replacing Jay Rodriguez.
