‘Listen to yourselves!’ Andrew Pierce blasts Russell Brand defenders after THAT GB News bust-up.
Andrew Pierce and his GB News co-host Beverley Turner dramatically clashed live on air today as they discussed the bombshell allegations made against Russell Brand in the Channel 4 Disptaches, The Times and Sunday Times investigation. Now Andrew has a message for the comedian’s defenders.
Comedian and actor Brand, 48, has been accused of rape and sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame and working for the BBC and Channel 4. During Monday’s GB News show, Daily Mail columnist Pierce branded Turner ‘shameful’ after she called Brand ‘a hero’ on Twitter in the wake of allegations revealed in an investigation by The Times, The Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches. Pierce also said that Turner was ‘behaving like an idiot’ after she continued to defend Brand amid the fallout.
The actor and stand-up comic has strenuously denied any wrongdoing and blamed the ‘mainstream media’ for the ‘litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks’.
