Israeli by special forces freed two hostages during a raid in Rafah. The two hostages have been identified as Fernando Simon Marman and Louis Hare. They were being held on the second floor of a building that was breached with an explosive charge during the raid, which saw heavy exchanges of gunfire with surrounding buildings. The rescued hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on Oct. 7, were taken to Sheba Medical Center in central Israel for tests.
