Riot police clashed with protestors in Buenos Aires on Wednesday as lawmakers debated on an economic reform bill. Police were seen using pepper spray and riot shields to break up the protest. They arrested several demonstrators during the incident which took place around the Congressional Plaza. Argentine lower chamber was debating on Wednesday a bill proposed by President Javier Milei to overhaul the South American country’s economy that is buckling under high debt with inflation running at over 200%.
