A suspect was discovered by Florida cops hiding behind a secret hidden door at his house after a K9 managed to sniff him out. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s officers were trying to locate a carjacking suspect in the Seffner area of Florida. With the help of a clever K9, the cops managed to discover a secret hidden door in the home. Bodycam footage of the discovery shows the K9 sniffing around the house with his handler in tow. The well-trained pup scrambled around the messy home and up a very cluttered staircase. After entering a trashed bedroom with junk all over the place, the dog started panting and the officers found a hidden door behind the bed. An officer knocked the door in and it fell, revealing a secret nook where a man was hiding. ‘Come out! Show me your hands,’ one of the officers ordered.
The suspect stumbled out of the hole in the wall while kneeling on the floor with his hands in the air. Christopher Springfield, 38, was arrested and charged with resisting an officer without violence and burglary of a motor vehicle. The suspect has a hefty criminal record, according to public records. Previous charges include other instances of burglary of motor vehicles, robbery, drug possession, felony battery and careless driving. #florida #dogs #Bodycam
