NYPD Officer Kelsey Garcia was in tears as she carried an injured mini-poodle in her arms after his owner threw him off a ledge. She rushed the dog, Rocket, to the ASPCA Animal Hospital, where he was treated with intravenous fluids and given pain medication. He later needed an emergency blood transfusion and surgery for a fractured femur. The ASPCA says Rocket will need several weeks of physical therapy
