Police arrested a woman in Florida carrying a live raccoon in her backpack. Video shows cops pulling over Lindsay Rodewald for riding her bicycle at night without lights in the city of Clearwater. She’s also carrying a cardboard box on the handlebars, and is wearing a backpack on the front of her body.
When asked what’s inside, she tells police there’s a chicken in the box and a raccoon in the backpack. Officers get her to open the backpack and are shocked to find a live animal inside. Rodewald explains she found it abandoned by the side of the road and has been taking care of it. Cops then ask about the live chicken, but are relieved to hear Rodewald got it at the grocery store. After a thorough search, cops find Rodewald is carrying a used meth pipe. She was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and released. The raccoon was taken into care and will be released back into the wild.#Raccoon #Florida #woman
