A group of graffiti vandals were arrested after getting trapped on the side of a historic high-rise during a brazen spray-painting spree.
The men were seen Sunday morning perched on the window ledges of the 24-story building in São Paulo, Brazil.
A witness called police around 5am local time and responding cops arrived only to find them struggling to climb down from as high as the fifth floor. It took eight hours for the suspects to be safely removed from the property.
Eight graffiti writers and two witnesses were taken to a local police station, where their statements were taken. The São Paulo Department of Public Safety said in a statement that it was investigating the incident.
