Bodycam captured a terrifying hammer attack on a female cop. Karli Travis was responding to a call about someone smashing glass. She arrived to find Winston Tate wielding a hammer. Video shows Tate charging Travis after she told him to drop the hammer. The cop then opens fire as Tate tries to hit her. Both Tate and Travis were wounded in the fight, but not seriously. Tate was arrested, Travis was taken to hospital and released. The incident took place in Connecticut last year, and this year Travis was given a medal for her bravery. She was praised for saving her life and the lives of fellow officers. #Dailymailcrime #crime
