Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric dam was hit by Russian missiles overnight as Moscow launched a salvo of rockets at energy facilities across the country. President Zelensky said power plants, electrical lines, ordinary residential buildings, and even a public bus were targeted on March 22.
The Ukrainian air force said 100 rockets and drones were used in the assault which potentially makes it the largest since the war began two years ago. Hypersonic missiles, cruise missiles and Shahed drones were among the weapons fired, of which Ukraine claimed to have shot down 92 of them.
