Ukraine has thwarted at least two Russian attacks on the town of Robotyne. Drone footage taken by the 110th Brigade shows how their troops attacked a Russian position dug into a tree-line near the town, in the south of Ukraine. Men used rifles and grenades to flush out five Russian troops, who survived but were taken prisoner. More drone footage, taken at night, showed how the 65th Brigade detected a large Russian attack building up and stopped it dead using artillery, FPV drones, and machine-gun fire. As a result, many Russian troops were either killed or wounded, with survivors taken prisoner. Robotyne was one of the few towns recaptured by Ukraine’s counter-offensive last summer, and is a key stepping stone on the road to Crimea. But, as a result, the position is heavily defended by the Russians with heavy minefields and dense trenches making it very hard to advance.
