Russian troops surrendered to Ukraine as their attack on Kharkiv backfired. Drone video showed Putin’s soldiers throwing up their hands in Vovchansk. The city, north of Kharkiv, has been the focus of fighting for the last few weeks. More video showed a Ukrainian humane rolling through ruins of the city. It is thought Kyiv’s troops have recaptured most of the eastern part of it. The attack was supposed to split Ukrainian forces and make life tough for Kyiv. But it has backfired as Ukraine pushes back and strikes Russian soil. More video showed a Russian armoured assault on a different town nearby. It was stopped dead by soldiers of the 42nd Brigade and their drone pilots. Four tanks, including old T-62 models, were damaged or destroyed. Along with two artillery pieces, and an armoured vehicle. The 42nd said 40 troops were either killed or injured in the bungled assault.
