Morgan Accourfi was skiing with his friends near the Coal Dujon on the Italian side of Mont Blanc when he witnessed the heart pounding moment. Luckily, the skier survived after triggering his avalanche airbag, a safety device that helps the wearer stay near the surface of the snow.
He was taken to the hospital where doctors found he had a broken leg and fractured ribs.
