Israeli police have released footage of a knifeman who attacked an off-duty IDF officer at the bus station in Be’er Sheva, the main city in southern Israel, on Sunday, leaving two people lightly injured. Footage shows Naji Abu Freh, 28, leaving his home in Rabat and making his way to Be’er Sheva where he pulled out a knife and launched his attack. He was tackled by an off-duty border guard who forced him to drop the knife, before being shot dead by IDF soldiers guarding the bus station. The stabbed officer was taken to hospital in good condition, while another person was wounded by a bullet ricochet, but was not badly hurt.
