Ukrainian special forces stormed a Russian trench somewhere on the frontline. Troops of the intelligence battalion ‘Sonechko’ led an attack on the Russians with the aim of flushing them out of their positions close to the front. The attack begins badly, as the squad immediately comes under fire with machine-guns and mortars pinning them down in a forested area. One of their soldiers is wounded in the firefight, and has to be taken out of battle so he can be patched up. But they manage to regain the initiative and advance into the Russian trench, exchanging grenade and gunfire with their enemies. They narrowly dodge an incoming grenade before hurling their own back driving the Russians away and managing to take the position. It is not clear exactly where the fighting took place as the Sonechko battalion tends to operate wherever the fighting is thickest.
