A Russian tank completely covered in armour plating was seen taking part in a failed assault on the Ukrainian-held town of Krasnohorivka. Drone video of the attack shows one Russian armoured column rolling towards Ukrainian lines before being hit by artillery and FPV drones. At least one BMP armoured vehicle is destroyed, and the attack is halted. A second armoured column led by the unconventional then enters the battle. Four vehicles manage to advance close to Ukrainian lines before also being hit by artillery. At least one of the vehicles is destroyed, prompting the other vehicles to retreat. More video then shows the tank in a workshop, apparently filmed by Russian soldiers. The armour seems designed to protect the vehicle from FPV drone attacks, whilst shielding any troops sitting on its turret or on top of the tracks. Russia has been increasingly using tanks to transport troops after losing huge amounts of BMP armoured vehicles that are usually used as transports. #russia #war #ukraine
