Russian troops trying to take back a village from rogue soldiers fighting for Ukraine accidentally threw a grenade at their own man during a bungled assault on the town of Kozinka that ended in defeat. Video of the attack was uploaded by the Russian Volunteer Corps, a unit of Russians who are now fighting for Ukraine and have attacked their own country and managed to seize villages along the border. One piece of footage shows a squad of six Russians attacking a house in which the rogue soldiers are sheltering, but the assault goes wrong. After failing to breach the door with a grenade, the men are hit with FPV drones and forced to abandon the attempt. In a second piece of footage from the same village, the Corps are attacking a house with five Russian soldiers inside – again hitting it with FPV drones and rocket launchers until it sets on fire and burns down. A squad of Spetsnaz special forces are sent to try and rescue the trapped men, but the mission ends in failure as the Corps manage to fight them back. #russia #ukraine #war
