Just Stop Oil mob stage stunt outside Rishi Sunak’s £6.6m home in Kensington. Just Stop Oil staged a disruptive protest outside Rishi Sunak’s £6.6million home in Kensington last night. The eco group were seen holding banners and placards that slammed new oil and gas licencing and crashed pots and pans together while singing with a microphone as residents tried to sleep. Officers have since confirmed 16 protesters were arrested and taken to a number of central London police stations where they remain in custody. The group wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: ’18 Just Stop Oil supporters are outside Rishi Sunak’s house in Kensington, enjoying a performance of ”We Tried” by @louisehmusic. ‘They made themselves heard by beating pots and pans and carrying placards reading ”COP Failure=Crop Failure”, ”No Rest For The Wicked”, ”Arrest the Real Criminals” ”Charge Him With Genocide”.’ It comes after Greenpeace protesters managed to climb on Mr Sunak’s home and drape it in black fabric while he was away on a family holiday in August.
