A nuclear facility has shut down after a wildfire ripped through the Texas Panhandle and into Oklahoma. The wildfire raged through 250,000 acres of land by Tuesday afternoon in a mere 28 hours since igniting on Monday February 26. First-person footage showed Greenville firefighters driving through the raging blaze. Fuelled by dry and unusually warm weather, the massive wildfire ranks as the fifth-largest in Texas history, surpassing the total area burned by all fires in the state last year. The effects if the wildfire prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to issue a disaster declaration for 60 counties. #texas #powerplant #fire
