Ukrainian soldiers rescued a wounded comrade while under fire. Hero troops of the 47th Brigade carried out the mission near Robotyne. The footage is thought to capture part of the battle to take the town. In it, the Ukrainians can be seen stranded in a field with a wounded man. They are taking fire from a nearby tree-line held by Russian forces. A brave machine-gunner opens fire and hurls grenades at the Russians. While his comrades try to drag the inured man to safety. They manage to get behind some trees in the middle of the field. But the Russians continue to fire at them, as bullets whistle overhead. Two Ukrainians respond with machine-gun fire and grenades. One can then be heard yelling ‘davai’ at his comrades, which means ‘go’. Shortly after the video cuts out, but is is thought the man was saved. Ukraine spent months capturing the town of Robotyne from Russia. Since then, they have used it to break the first line of Russian defence. And are now advancing towards the second, a short distance away. Their goal is to break nearby supply lines into occupied Crimea.
