Ukraine has blown up a Russian fuel depot in Luhansk with ATACMS missiles. Video taken from the occupied part of the oblast shows flames in the night sky. They are thought to come from a fuel storage supplying the Russian army. Kyiv’s men struck the facility overnight on May 7, using precision missiles. The missile in question is thought to be the MGM-140 ATACMS. These US-made weapons were recently supplied to Ukraine in an aid package. Since then, Ukraine has used them to strike Russian bases in Crimea along with a troop training area, also located within occupied Luhansk. Washington is thought to have given Ukraine more than 100 of the weapons. Kyiv has long sought the ATACMS so it can hit targets far beyond the frontline.
