A drone, believed to have flown from Ukraine, has blown up one of Russia’s largest steel mills as Kyiv slowly degrades Moscow’s ability to wage war by destroying its arms factories. The Severstal Steel Plant, in Vololgda oblast, was hit around 5.30am on March 7, with footage showing the drone struck a blast furnace, causing a large explosion and a plume of smoke to start rising. The plant is 800 miles from the frontline, meaning the drone either flew an extraordinary distance to hit the plant, or was laughed from within Russia itself – either way showing off considerable capability. Ukraine did not accept responsibility for the blast, but did publicise it on military media channels. #ukraine #russia #war
