Ukraine has attacked one of Russia’s biggest oil refineries with a long-range attack drone in its latest round of strikes to cripple the economy. Footage appears to show one of the UJ-22 drones approaching the Nizhnyokamsk refinery, which is located in the remote Tatarstan region. More footage shows the wreck of the drone being removed, after it apparently hit one of the distilling towers at the plant, potentially knocking a significant amount of Russia’s refining capacity offline. The attack was carried out on the same day that other long-range drones struck a factory, also in Tatarstan, where Shahed suicide drones are being produced for Putin’s armies. Ukraine is trying to wipe out Russia’s refineries to rob the government of money needed to fight its war in Eastern Europe, and is disabling factories that are producing weapons for its troops to fight with. #russia #Ukraine #russia #war
